Hive Application

Hello folks. I recently took up Imperion, after playing Travian actively for some time. My ign is 'porphyra' and am in G3. Anyhow, looking around, I came across "The Hive", and it sounded like exactly the alliance that I would like to be part of.

Of course I realise that I am fairly new and rather below the 1000 cut-off but that is just a work in progress, and as a very active/aggressive player, population number is but a meaningless statistic, That being said, however, my current goal is to steadily work towards planet number 2.

While new to Imperion, having played Travian, I have had a rather short learning curve and am fairly offensive minded. If you require proof then you can check out my offensive rank here (1340, while my rank is close to 6000+). I have pretty much made all my neighbours my farms (save for some pesky Titans and their bloomin' shields).

Ultimately my goal is to get into a like minded alliance to fine tune my game and learn the subtler aspects of Imperion, while contributing to the overall growth of the alliance itself.

Almost there guys. The damn rollback caused some heartache, but my pop is back up..800+ now.

Also, almost have enough EP for planet #2, a couple of days. Drop ship researched and ready to be deployed.

Will wait until the hurly burly's done..until the battle's lost and won.

Offensive Rank (Points): 650 (2,267)
Defensive: Who the F cares. Some low insignificant number.
Army: 100+ Battleships/destroyers in a 3:2 Ratio

Still waiting on you guys. Not really interested in any of the other alliance offers as such.

Just build destroyers. Just my opinion. Energy is such a big issue atm and im thinking of getting rid of my 300 battleships and replacing them with 633 destroyers.

I say when he gets to 640 in offensive he can join the league.

You think so eh? Right now energy is no issue, but I gather yea it will be soon. At this moment, battleships are so much better as they are much better raiding units. They travel faster, burn less fuel and carry a bigger payload. I imagine that once my puny forces grow, I will be making that ratio the other way round..

Hey. Im not that big on all the info. I could be wrong. I raid with my fighters.

Battleships are slightly better raiders than fighters... ignoring the energy cost to maintain them.

A battleship is about 7% faster, has 13% more cargo capacity per deut used, and can go 75% farther than a fighter.

As an active fighting ship... it's one of the least energy efficient ships out there. HCs are considered one of most energy efficient ships out there.

The subj-what and the genu-where? Damn it Tess now I have to go look this crap up on the web! Quite honestly though this app is where all of our apps should be as far as attitude towards the style of play! Although I must warn that joining our league may actually cause you to get less interaction with non-hive players. For some unknown reason nobody really ever hits a hive member. And when you set off to attack them the next thing you know they have went on vacation. LOL!

Hey maybe we need another position in the HIVE. Call it Travel Agent
