I need a level 5 embassy to build a colony center. On my second planet I dont see a need for the embassy but the colony center is vital due to the tremendous EP. My question is if I get the embassy to level 5, build the colony center then tear down the embassy, will that effect the colony center? Are there any other effects I dont realize?
Btw I am new to the "HIVE"! And I am very excited. Thanks for the chance! I look forward to being a strong/active swarm to enforce the will of "The HIVE"!

An Embassy stops other players from flying a Dropship to your planet and taking it over.
Right now thats not an issue since invasions are not working, but once they are.. the Embassy is one of the 1st buildings you want to get up on any new world you colonize. The Embassy will be a target for enemy bombers followed by a Dropship very close behind, so its also worth giving it a few levels later on on each of your offworlds.
Your home world cannot be invaded, so thats the only planet you dont need an Embassy on.

The embassy is also a great source of EP. At level 20 it gives you 160 EP.

Yer safe for a while though, as according to the devs invasion has been disabled whilst they fix sum bugs...
